To create a tournament first click 'My account' while logged in at the top. Then click on the league admin link. Then click your league name in the league admin tab. Now if you have permission to do tournaments then you should see a tournaments tab on the right side of the page. Then click on the blue create a new tournament link.
1. Type in name of the tourney, the game it's for, size, tourney format, date, time and finally description.
2. After you save the tourney it will now be listed on your league home page and your tournament tab to manage. To edit the tourney just click the blue link for the tournament you want to edit. Then click on the blue link for modify details. Don’t forget to click on the save button at the bottom or changes won’t be saved.
3. Right before you are ready to do your tourney and all players are signed up you must finalize the tournament by clicking on the blue finalize players link. This will make it so that nobody can quit or join the tournament. Also if you have set your tournament for 16 players and only have 8 before you finalize your tournament you can click on the blue resize brackets link. It will resize your tournament down to 8 and get rid of all the byes you will have each round. Also take note of who is playing who since it will shuffle who is playing who around.
4. Now you can view the tournament under the manage brackets column. This is where you will select who wins and moves onto the next round. Chose a winner for every bracket in the round before you update the tourney for the next round!!!
5. After you have finished the tournament and updated the brackets you will need to click on the blue complete link. This will complete the tournament and will calculate all stats, update the ladder and payout MGL bucks.
